A unique partnership
A project that brings together skills and expertise from three EU countries
Enagas
Spain

It is accredited as an independent TSO by the European Union and carries out its activities in eight countries.
Enagás has a clear and dedicated commitment to the energy transition, utilising new energy solutions that allow Enagás to transition towards a more sustainable model, which includes: the development of renewable gases and their integration into existing gas infrastructures; the promotion of new gas uses in sectors such as transport, especially maritime transport; and energy efficiency as a vessel for optimising resources and reducing contaminating emissions.
Falck Renewables
Italy

develops, designs, builds and manages power production plants from renewable sources, with an installed capacity of 1,420 MW in the United Kingdom, Italy, United States, Spain, France, Norway and Sweden.
H2Greem

Loonit SRL
Belgium

LOONIT employs hydrogen experts that have more than 10 years’ experience in the sector and could provide significant support in the replication of this projects in other industries and to evaluate the business case at large scale. LOONIT has already analysed the use of other technologies to reduce CO2 emissions like the deployment of 100% electric vehicles replacing large diesel fleets. It has the capability to prepare economic models and conduct market projections to assess the potential of a given business case.
Residuos Aragón
Spain

RESIDUOS ARAGON consumes huge amounts of natural gas in the industrial process, mainly to produce steam with the resulting production of CO2.
RESIDUOS ARAGON is located in an area of Spain with huge renewable potential, both solar and wind. So it could benefit from these resources to reduce its carbon footprint.
RESIDUOS ARAGON has been a pioneer in the use of renewable resources and installed already its first solar panels in 2001.
Nowadays, RESIDUOS ARAGON would like to do a step forward and adapt its industrial process to the use of Green Hydrogen.
Given the strategic role in the regional agro-industry and its involvement with biofuels, RESIDUOS ARAGON has an important environmental function and an image to preserve. It is in close contact with all the stakeholders in the Region, from local to regional governments, industrial associations, and other companies of the sector. This will certainly help in the dissemination of the project and potential replication.
